The Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 “University Red” is a Long Time Coming

Many years ago, Nike approached hip-hop collective Terror Squad for a series of special Air Force 1s. Each and every colourway was made exclusively for the members of the Bronx-based group. While sneakers like the Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 “University Red” never got a public release, after over two decades, the holy grail is finally upon us.

Unlike the first Terror Squad AF1 that dropped, this version is a lot spicier. Working on top of a crisp white leather base, it’s overlaid by fiery “University Red” panels throughout. Extending from the toebox to the back, it’s a total one-to-one recreation of the Y2K OG.

A classic Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls, and “TS” is embroidered on the lateral side, locking in Terror Squad’s legacy. The initials “JC” hit the heel tab in honour of Joey Crack himself, and all of this rests on top of an unbelievably comfortable Air midsole.

Built on one of Nike’s most iconic silhouettes, the Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low “University Red” is more than just a collector’s item – it’s a cultural bookmark.
