Two years ago, adidas made the surprise announcement that it was teaming up with Gucci for a full collection. It was the things of dreams, and if you’ve always wanted to know what a Jordan Brand collaboration would’ve looked like, the all-new Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Gorge Green” should definitely be on your radar. Dropping as part of the Summer 2024 line-up, here’s what you need to know.
Boasting a premium all-leather construction, this Air Jordan 1 works on top of a “Black” base, and is overlaid by “Gorge Green” panels across the toebox and heel. A splash of “Varsity Red” hits the sockliner and cotton laces, resulting in a palette that’s very obviously borrowed from the Italian fashion house.
A Swoosh glides through the lateral and medial sidewalls, and around the back, you’ll find the legendary winged basketball emblem. All of this then rests on top of a Nike Air midsole for added comfort and cushioning. This has been slightly pre-yellowed to give off a very vintage vibe.
Scheduled to drop on June 12th, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Gorge Green” will be a women’s exclusive, but that won’t stop some of you guys from squeezing into a pair. If you want these in your collection this summer, be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to cop!
