At first glance, you’ll immediately notice that the “Voodoo Alternate” retains the overall aesthetic of its 2022 counterpart, maintaining that distinct voodoo-inspired design that we all know and love. However, there are a few subtle yet distinctive changes that are definitely worth exploring. Crafted from a premium combination of leather and suede, it looks and feels outrageously premium. But, unlike its predecessor, this Air Jordan swaps out the earthy tones for a blue and indigo palette instead.
Slick black hues arrive on the front, and a stealthy Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls of the “Voodoo Alternate,” complete with exaggerated stitching to keep in line with the monstrous theme. Another Nike tick is embroidered across the toe, and as with the original “Voodoo,” you’ll find the signature skull logo at the heel.
Braided rope laces tie everything together, and inverted branding is stitched on the tongue tag and heel badge just to really bring home the fact that this is no ordinary release. All of this then comes packed in a special edition box that’s almost as collectible as the shoes themselves.
