What You Need to Know About the Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Dunk Low “Matcha”

After dropping the holy grail that is the “Wolf Grey” in 2023, Yuto Horigome and Nike SB are finally back in the lab, this time for the all-new Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Dunk Low “Matcha.” Rumours of this collaboration have been going around for months now, but while we’ve been blessed with hundreds of different mock-ups and leaks, it’s now been officially confirmed by the power duo.

Working on top of a beige suede base, this SB Dunk Low is overlaid by lush green nubuck panels that wrap around the toebox, lacing system, and heel. These are decorated with subtle speckling throughout, resulting in a fresh, organic aesthetic. A “Legion Green” Swoosh glides through the lateral and medial sidewalls, and they join around the back, where you’ll find a “Sesame”-coloured heel badge.

Co-branded detailing is stitched on the tongue, and underfoot, the midsole is infused with Zoom Air technology for an unbelievable amount of cushioning. The special edition collaboration is then finished off with a crossed-feather motif that’s finely debossed on the heel.

But that’s not all, as the “Matcha” will also be launching alongside an exclusive T-shirt. On the back, a graphic of a geisha holding a Nike SB teacup sits in front of Mount Fuji, with a skater in the frame too.
