Willy Chavarria’s latest adidas release didn’t get revealed subtly — it arrived with “Mega” confidence at Paris Fashion Week. Among the standout footwear moments was the reveal of the adidas Megaride AG, a chunky, 2000s-inspired silhouette designed to feel at home on both the runway and the streets

Anchored in early-aughts performance DNA, the Megaride AG pairs bold cushioning tech with a streamlined but bulky frame. Chavarria presented multiple versions during the SS26 show, including black/silver, pastel pink, and light blue, each echoing different moods but sharing the same confident form. A separate build featuring an exaggerated TPU upper turned heads, hinting at potential experimentation beyond the base model.

The Megaride AG wasn’t alone. A larger XL variant also appeared, carrying over the same proportions with added visual weight. There was also a surprise rework of the Superstar and a sighting of Chavarria’s long-tongued Jabbar Lo in a clean black-and-white combo.

The collection brought adidas athletes front and centre, including James Harden—who made his runway debut in what might be a future basketball model—alongside skaters like Jenn Soto and Gui Silva. Chavarria’s message was clear: identity, presence, and performance don’t have to be separated. They can walk the same runway. Expect the adidas Megaride AG and other pairs from this collection to land in Spring/Summer 2026.
