With the Nike Air Force 1 “Layers of Love,” Love is Literally in the Air

Even though Valentine’s Day is still a ways away, Nike is already getting ready for Cupid’s favourite season. After checking out a SB Dunk Low that’s inspired by the Red Thread of Fate just a few weeks ago, we’re now taking our first look at the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 “Layers of Love.” Clearly made with the big day in mind, make sure you read on to find out everything that you need to know.

Unlike other Air Force 1s, the “Layers of Love” swaps the usual all-leather outfit in favourite of a full suede construction that’s smooth and supple to the touch. Perforations feature across the toe area for added ventilation, while soft cotton laces tie everything together.

In typical V Day fashion, these kicks are painted in three different shades of red, with “University Red” making a prominent appearance along the front of the AF1, the nylon tongue, as well as the Swoosh. However, to make things a little more intriguing, the American sportswear company has added a pop of “Pacific Moss” around the heel that is sure to get people talking. The Air midsole is also dipped in a chocolatey brown hue, finalising the design.

The Nike Air Force 1 “Layers of Love” stands out with its creative use of colour and premium materials.
