One of the latest and community dividing adidas Yeezy styles, the Yeezy Knit Runner lands in a new “Stone Carbon” colourway. Although we may haven’t seen a lot of releases on this model, there are definitely mixed views on this drop, despite hype being off the charts!
Basically a one-piece Primeknit upper fabric with a rubber sole slapped underneath; the Yeezy Knit Runner, or commonly nicknamed the “Turreliens”, arrives in another two-tone colourway dubbed the “Stone Carbon”. Here we get the first actual images of the upcoming trainer set for a release in the first quarter of 2022.
The Yeezy Knit Runner “Stone Carbon” features a dark grey tincture that makes up the majority of the Primeknit upper. While a reddish-brown hue covers the ankle collar and the rest of the upper panel. A bunch of internal padding and foam makes up the structure of the shoe, so you need not worry in case you’re wondering about durability.
The size of the pair is indicated on the lateral side near the collar as an added detail to the minimalist shoe. That’s the only other design feature with no YZY nor adidas three stripes on the exterior.
A dimple on the midfoot area acts as torsional support. The only Yeezy and adidas labels you can find are on the sole and sockliner.
A rubber outsole featuring a wavy herringbone traction pattern completes the “modern house slipper” vibes.
