The thisisneverthat x New Balance 991v2 Makes it Official

Without a shadow of a doubt, thisisneverthat is one of the best New Balance collaborators on the planet. From the 2002R to the 860v2, the South Korean stalwart has worked on some of the American sportswear company’s best silhouettes ever, and now, it’s turning its attention to a newer arrival with the thisisneverthat x New Balance 991v2. Staying true to both brands’ love for muted palettes and premium craftsmanship, make sure you read on to find out everything you need to know.

thisisneverthat’s first take on the 991v2 is painted in grey, grey, and even more grey. It’s a crisp colour combo that’ll worth with any fit you throw at it. Up top, the upper works on top of a breathable mesh base, and it’s overlaid by soft suede panels throughout. Pops of olive make things even more interesting, and because this collaboration has been crafted in New Balance’s own factories in England, you can expect every stitch and every sew to be done to the highest standard.

A small TNT logo is embroidered around the lateral ankle (short for thisisneverthat), and all of this rests on top of a beefed up ABZORB midsole that’s as comfortable as it gets.
