The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 “Violet Ore” Finally Has a Release Date

Just when you thought A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand were taking a little break, they shatter the silence with the long-awaited A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 “Violet Ore”. Not only does it celebrate the 40th anniversary of Air Jordan, it also pays homage to the AJ5’s 35th birthday, so calling this a special collaboration is a bit of an understatement.

This limited edition Air Jordan 5 boasts a clean white leather upper, contrasted by the familiar “Violet Ore” shade on the midsole, tongue, and quilted interior lining. Premium touches continue throughout, with subtle reflective hits and monogram netting adding depth. Along the heel, the classic “Nike Air” sits above a stitched “23”, nodding to Michael Jordan’s legendary jersey number.

Co-branded detailing is stitched on the inside of the tongues, and this release also shines a light on Juneteenth, recognising cities that have shaped Black culture – including Atlanta, Harlem, Chicago, and more. All of this is then packed in an exclusive shoebox that was made just for this collaboration.
