Just when we thought Nike were done, we stumble upon yet another Nike Air Max 1 ’86 colourway. This is arguably the fourth and final pair in the rumoured four colourways. We recently covered what we thought to be the Smokey Mauve colourway, but this is the official Smokey Mauve rendition. The previous pair will be called “Metallic Gold Grain”. This Nike Air Max 1 ’86 “Smokey Mauve” rocks multiple Brown shades atop a neutral upper. It highly reminds us of the Patta x Air Max 1 “Brown” minus the Blue and Pink colours.
With all the official images now set, the only thing we need to know is a release date! In the meantime, check out the rest of the photos below.
The shoe features a Grey mesh base with Brown suede overlays. The midfoot suede layers come in the usual Brown hue, while the mudguard and Swoosh flaunt a rather purplish tone.
Both the laces and inner lining come in Brown.
Gold sockliners stand out inside the shoe, Nike Air Max labels on the tongue and heel appear in Sail White.
The PU midsole features Sail White tones for a complete vintage treatment. A Brown waffle sole completes the fresh Air Max 1 ’86 “Smokey Mauve”.
We have no official release details on any of the Air Max 1 ’86 after the White/Red variant. Nike held an Air Max Day event together with Kids of Immigrants and Black Market Flea and gave away limited-edition pairs of the 4 colourways.
