After almost nine months of nothing but rumours and teasers, the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Royal Reimagined” has finally arrived, following in the footsteps of 2022’s Air Jordan 1 High OG “Chicago Lost & Found” and the Air Jordan 3 “White Cement Reimagined” that launched earlier this year.
Paying homage to one of the OG Jordan Brand colourways that debuted back in 1985, this forthcoming release is next chapter in the “Royal” narrative after the 2017 trio: Air Jordan 1 High “Royal,” the Air Jordan 1 High “Satin Royal,” and of course, the Air Jordan 1 High Flyknit “Royal.”
Adhering to the original’s blueprint, this AJ1 features a dominant black base, accented with “Varsity Royal” panels that are decked out in a buttery suede material. A Nike Swoosh gracefully glides across both lateral and medial sidewalls, while the signature winged basketball logo finds its place firmly on the collar. The toe area, punctuated by a thoughtful series of perforations, allows for active foot ventilation during on-court action. All of this is placed atop a crisp white Air midsole, promising an enhanced cushioning and comfort experience.
