When you think about the Nike SB line, your mind probably automatically shifts towards the SB Dunk, the SB Blazer, or even the holy-grail that is the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Pine Green.” However, this mentality is about to change very soon as we get up close and personal with the brand new Nike SB Air Max Ishod Wair. Made in collaboration with the legendary skateboarder, it’s the sequel to the highly-successful Nike SB Ishod silhouette from 2021.
Making its grand debut in a clean “White” colourway, the Air Max Ishod Wair works on top of a breathable mesh foundation and is overlaid by panels and panels of premium leather throughout. Soft nubuck wraps around the lacing system and mudguards, and along the front and back, you’ll find fiery “Orange” suede that gives off an early-2000s aesthetic.
However, what really sets this apart from the rest of the competition is the midsole underfoot. Infused with Nike‘s critically-acclaimed Air Max technology, it provides optimal support and comfort both on and off the half-pipe. It’s then lined with a gum rubber outsole for extra grip, and the sneaker is finished off with a glossy Swoosh that glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls.
The Nike SB Air Max Ishod Wair “White Orange” is destined to make a significant impact on the skating community upon its release.
