We’re only halfway through 2022 but Nike’s heat AF1 drops are only getting started!
There is something going on with iconic trainers from the 80s. This vintage Next Nature makeover also appeared on the Nike Air Pegasus 83; also in the same colours of White and Blue. The Nike Air Force 1 first released back in 1982, now celebrating 40 years in 2022, the shoe came a long way. Designed by Bruce Kilgore, the Nike Air Force 1 is the first Nike basketball shoe to feature Nike Air cushioning. But its popularity didn’t depend on the technology alone. A lot of people praised the shoe for being easy to style and suitable to wear all year long.
The Low version is arguably the most popular among all styles and continues to roll out in new flavours.
This Nike Air Force 1 Low ’07 “82 Sail Blue Chill” flaunts recycled content such as Grind Rubber. Sail White leather comprises the upper, while two shades of Blue adorn the double Swoosh logos. The 82 on the tongue represents the year the AF1 first came out. vintage Nike tags on the heel come embroidered.
Speckles on the sole indicate the use of Nike Grind Rubber.
