The Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Bred” is Finally Making a Comeback

Next year marks the 40th anniversary of Jordan Brand, and with a milestone as big as this, you just know that Nike‘s going to make a pretty big deal out of it. That’s why they’re set to bring the legendary Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Bred” back. While this colourway has re-released multiple times over the past four decades, this is going to be a one-to-one version of the pair that Michael Jordan wore back in the day.

Originally banned by the NBA for flouting uniform standards, the “Bred” has since become an emblem of defiance and style. Constructed from premium leather construction, the sneaker works on top of a slick “Black” base and is overlaid by panels of “Varsity Red” throughout for that classic Chicago Bulls-inspired palette. A Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls, and the iconic winged basketball emblem is stamped diagonally across the collar.

Underfoot, the midsole of this Air Jordan 1 is infused with Air tech for unrivalled comfort and cushioning both on and off the court. All of this then packed in a special edition shoebox, similar to what you might’ve found with the “Lost & Found” that launched in 2022.

The Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Bred” is set to make a triumphant return in Spring 2025, just in time to celebrate the 40th birthday of Jordan Brand. As always, make sure you keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size.
