Air Jordan 4 Retro "Black Canvas" DH7138-006

Reminiscent of the extremely rare Carhartt x Eminem Jordan 4s! Almost all J4 releases in 2022 brought a lot of hype and remain high in demand. With a few more months before we close out the year, Jordan Brand has more colourways lined up. Making noise on social media is the Air Jordan 4 Retro “Black Canvas”; clad in a Black canvas base with Grey accents on the TPU lace cage and outsole.

Air Jordan 4s are arguably the most popular Air Jordan Retros after the J1. With new colourways such as this one, sneakerheads are sure to try and cop a pair come release day. Its similarity to the Carhartt 4s makes this crep a must-cop!

The Air Jordan 4 originally came out in 1989 as Tinker Hatfield’s second Jordan sneaker since he took over. Utilising the same cushioning setup as the 3, the Air Jordan 4 features mesh netting on the sides and TPU support wings on the sides. The heel panel also incorporate TPU for added durability.

Jumpman logos appear on the tongue and heel. Underneath the Jumpman on the tongue is the word “flight”, a reference to Michael Jordan’s unmatched athleticism on the court.

The outsole uses a multidirectional herringbone traction pattern with stars on the toe section.

This Air Jordan 4 Retro “Black Canvas” features an all-Black canvas base with a smooth suede mudguard. Shades of Grey adorn the lace cage, Jumpman logos, and outsole.

The simple colour combination reminds people of the limited Air Jordan 4 x Carhartt Eminem.

Because of its clean and classic design approach, expect a lot of hype for this one. Keep an eye out for its release in late August 2022.
