And for their latest collaboration, they’ve teamed up for the Lionel Messi x adidas Samba “White.” Designed to honour his powerful influence both on and off the pitch, images of this sneaker first surfaced all the way back in January. And after all this time, it’s finally ready to drop.

From a distance, the Inter Miami CF forward’s take on the Samba looks like just another classic colourway. But as soon as you take a closer look, you’ll begin to spot a bunch of special details. Crafted from a buttery soft leather construction, suede lands on the toebox, while the usual Three Stripe branding across the sides is done up in purple as a nod to Messi’s 2022 Argentina World Cup third kit.

Messi’s personal branding is highlighted on the tongue with a neon green logo, and this vibrant shade extends towards the insoles as well. Underfoot, the midsole is housed in gum rubber, and the “White” is finished off with “Samba” text that’s stamped along the lateral sidewall in a shiny gold font.
