An Official Look at the CLOT x adidas Gazelle “Crepe Sole”

Ever since Edison Chen left Team Nike for Team adidas, the Hong Kong-based designer has been having a lot of fun with some of the German sportswear company’s most iconic silhouettes. After dropping a “Chinese New Year” Superstar just last month, we’re now getting an official look at the upcoming CLOT x adidas Gazelle “Crepe Sole.”

Revealed in two colourways, the first pair boasts a crisp off-white satin upper that’s complemented by subtle CLOT embroidery throughout. Ruffled-edge laces and gold-foil branding keep the design clean and elevated. The second version, on the other hand, opts for a rich navy, green, and yellow palette that’s designed to turn heads wherever you go. It’s overlaid by panels and panels of soft suede for an extra premium look and feel.

Of course, you just can’t talk about these exclusive Gazelles without mentioning the chunky crepe soles underfoot. Nodding to past collaborations like the Kith x Clarks x adidas one, it gives the model a smart and somewhat sartorial aesthetic that you could probably wear with a suit. All of this then comes packed in a special edition shoebox that was made exclusively for this partnership.
