With the hotly-anticipated Bob Marley biopic in cinemas right now, adidas is celebrating the legendary singer, guitarist, and songwriter’s well-documented love for the Samba with the freshly-revealed adidas Samba “Reggae Pack.” Unleashed in two colourways, both pairs nod to Jamaica’s vibrant music scene and its undeniable impact on both sports and fashion.
It’s a known fact that Marley was a big fan of the Samba, so using this silhouette for this collection is an obvious choice. Revealed in “Cloud White” and “Core Black” colour options, both trainers are crafted from premium leather and are decorated with green, yellow, and red accents as a nod to rastafarian culture. A dash of buttery suede wraps around the toebox, and cotton laces tie everything together.
Underfoot, the midsoles are housed in gum rubber to pay homage to Marley’s love of football, and to round it all off, adidas’ signature Trefoil is carefully printed on the tongues. You’ll also find “Samba” branding that’s been finely debossed on the lateral sidewalls in shiny gold foil.
Expected to release within the coming weeks, make sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps if you want the adidas Samba “Reggae Pack” in your collection this season.
