Back in November 2022, James Whitner and his talented team changed the world with the release of the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 4 “Violet Ore.” Even though this silhouette has already been around for almost four decades, sneakerheads all over the globe agreed that this was one of the greatest pairs of all-time. And while many of you didn’t manage to cop back in the day, it looks like the Atlanta-based boutique is gearing up for two more A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 4s, named the “Phantom” and the “Fossil Stone.”
The “Phantom” bears a striking resemblance to AMM’s Air Jordan 3. Featuring a “Phantom,” “Metallic Pewter,” “Violet Ore,” and “Light Iron Ore” colour combination, it’s accented by “Burgundy Crush” tones around the mudguard section, while the Nike Air midsole is dipped in “Muslin” for that classic look and feel. The “Fossil Stone,” on the other hand, was actually spotted at Paris Fashion Week, and offers a more understated aesthetic. Painted in “Fossil Stone” and “Metallic Pewter” hues, it’s also contrasted by “Burgundy Crush” throughout.
Both Air Jordan 4s feature co-branded tongue tags and quilted inner linings. They’re also packed in limited edition shoeboxes that have been made exclusively for this coveted collaboration, and each pair comes with a special hangtag that you won’t find anywhere else. While these are just mock-ups for now, they’re pretty close to the real deal.
If you want the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 4 “Phantom” or “Fossil Stone” or both in your collection, they’re both expected to launch sometime in September 2024. Make sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size.
