Following the immense hype of the Calm Slide, Nike is now ready to take on the Crocs Classic Clog with the very appropriately-named Calm Mule. Boasting a similar aesthetic, this is the perfect option if you prefer wearing closed-toe foam-based shoes instead of slides and sandals. Ready to jump on the Nike Calm Mule hype? Then let’s check out some of the upcoming colourways down below!
Featuring a foam construction with a closed-toe design, this is one of the main differences between this and the Calm Slide. Inspired by traditional clogs, these feature a nylon strap with a rubber buckle that locks down the heel. A debossed Swoosh logo sits on the lateral panel in a minimalist form.
There’s a cut-out section on the medial side, which serves as the main ventilation hole to allow air to flow and keep your feet dry from sweat and moisture. Linear textures on the footbed help lock your foot down in place for a consistent fit.
The thick foam midsole and blade traction patterns on the outsole remain untouched, featuring the same design as the Calm Slide.
Not much else is known about the Nike Calm Mule just yet, but we can expect this clog to arrive before 2023 ends. Two more colourways will be joining this olive green pair.
