Edison Chen is on a roll. After taking the wraps off of a Gazelle earlier this season, the Hong Kong-based streetwear designer has now revealed his next sneaker collaboration with the CLOT x adidas Superstar “Crystal Sand.” While he could’ve just released a regular pair and it would have sold out anyway, he’s taken the silhouette to a sartorial new level.

Revealed in a “Crystal Sand” colour combination, the upper of this Superstar is crafted from extremely premium leather that’s unlike anything else out there. A series of perforations hit the lateral and medial sidewalls for a brogue-like aesthetic, while a tassel graces the lacing system, inspired by a luxurious pair of loafers.

The legendary Shelltoe has also been decked out in leather, and all of this rests on top of a rubber sole that’s bolstered by exaggerated tooling for added grip. All of this then comes packed in a special adidas edition shoebox that was created exclusively for this partnership.

Overall, the CLOT x adidas Superstar “Crystal Sand” blends traditional design with contemporary craftsmanship, making it a must-have for sneakerheads looking for a refined yet bold addition to their collection. Set to drop on October 12th via Juice Store, a wider release is expected before 2025 ends.
