After taking a sneak peek of the “Off White” and “Core Black” a few weeks ago, Bad Bunny and adidas are back, and this time they’re going for gold with the Bad Bunny x adidas Ballerina “Bold Gold.” The latest colourway to his the reggaeton artist’s signature dance, here’s everything you need to know.
If you feel like you’ve seen the Ballerina somewhere before, that’s because it’s actually inspired by the adidas Taekwondo. Featuring a premium “Bold Gold” suede base, it’s contrasted by slick “Core Black” leather across the lateral and medial sidewalls. A toggle switch lacing system ties everything together, and the aglets have been taped to give if a more rugged look and feel.
Down south, the super flat midsole is infused with gum rubber to keep things nice and grippy, and it’s emblazoned with “adidas para Bad Bunny” just to remind you that this ain’t any old shoe. All of this then comes packed in a special edition shoebox that’s been designed to resemble old school adidas packaged from decades past.
The Bad Bunny x adidas Ballerina “Bold Gold” is set to drop on March 29th. Let us know if you’ll be going for these, and be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
