Nike seems to be getting summer ready early with these leaked shots of another “Sun Club” Nike Dunk. Previewed in the previous year in a different colourway, the Nike Dunk Low SE “Sun Club Yellow” takes a swim into shark infested waters in this rendition. This “Nike Sun Club” release packs pure summer vibes with vibrant yellow tones, headlined with recycled content.
Let’s check out the official photos of the Nike Dunk Low “Sun Club Yellow” as we wait for release details.
Just like the other “Sun Club” Nike Dunk we covered on the site in 2021, the shoe uses canvas and pebbled leather. Yellow pebbled leather makes up the outer panels, while white canvas comprises the base and the tongue. Additional fabrics of suede adorn the heel panel and Swooshes.
The Swoosh features a unique transition from suede to an embroidered shark fin swimming. Water drops appear around the design.
Nike Sun Club labels are placed on the tongue. Inside the tongue, it shows a hammock with the label “Designed in Beaverton, Oregon”; a nod to Nike’s origin and current headquarters.
Recycled content is utilised as the Sunburst logo on the Volt insole highlights Nike’s “Move to Zero” campaign.
Speckles on the midsole and rubber outsole indicate Nike Grind Rubber – a recycled material taken from factory scraps.
The Sand-like hue of the outsole blends well with the lining and rear portion of the shoe.
Expect Nike to unveil the inclusions in the pack with Summer 2022 just a few months away. Because of the insane demand surrounding Nike Dunks for the past three years, these are definitely going to be on the radar of many.
No official release information has surfaced, but always stay tuned for more details as the warm season approaches.
