This Air Jordan 2 Retro “Lucky Green” rocks a clean White and Green makeover, joining other Air Jordan Retros to don the same colours. Since the late and great Virgil Abloh’s Off-White Air Jordan 2 collab came out, Jordan Brand pushed for more J2 styles. 2022 also saw the return of the Air Jordan 2 Chicago in its OG form. With this, it’s almost certain that the Air Jordan 2 will finally be a mainstay model in the brand’s release lineup.

Air Jordan 2 releases have been sporadic over the years. Some say this shoe lacked MJ greatness because he barely wore the model due to his foot injury. Despite the premium faux lizard skin overlays and luxurious Italian-inspired aesthetics, the Jordan 2 just didn’t really get much attention.

The Air Jordan 2 originally came out in 1986 and featured no Swoosh logos. However, the streamlined leather upper and lizard skin mudguard made the shoe look presentable and fancy. Jordan Wings appears on the tongue for minimal branding.

This Air Jordan 2 Retro “Lucky Green” features a White leather upper with Lucky Green accents on the Jordan Wings, lining, and heel panel. Sail White tones on the lace loops and midsole give the shoe the trendy vintage treatment.

Cement Grey appears on the outsole along with Green pigments in some areas.
