Air Jordan 6 Retro (GS) "Washed Denim" (2022) DM9045-100

Denim is a familiar colourway on the Air Jordan 6, first introducing the colourway back in 2019. But for 2022, we get a new kids-exclusive versiin clad in washed denim material. The Air Jordan 6 Retro (GS) “Washed Denim” gives that acid wash denim effect on the overlays. It seems like the upcoming “Washed Denim” collection will bring a lot of heat for this season; truly exciting!

The Air Jordan 6 joins other classic models donning the Washed Denim makeover. The likes of the Air Jordan 1 Low, Mid, and the coveted women’s Air Jordan 1 High all seem to be part of an upcoming collection. Not only that, but other Nike icons also join the fun as we get more details.

Introduced in 1991, the Air Jordan 6 became Michael Jordan’s first-ever championship basketball shoe. Design cues suggest that the J6 took inspiration from MJ’s Porsche 911 – specifically the rear spoiler also serving as the heel tab.

Leather and nubuck make up the upper of most Air Jordan 6 colourways. Perforations across the midfoot to the rear sides provide breathability.

Jumpman logos can be found on the heel panel and rubber outsole.

PU makes up the midsole, with the usual visible Air unit on the heel for cushioning. A traction pattern consisting of circles and zig-zags stay true to form.

This Air Jordan 6 Retro (GS) “Washed Denim” features a white leather upper base. Washed Denim fabric covers the overlays and most of the rear section.

Lime Yellow on the lace lock and the Jumpman logo on the outsole.

Exclusively releasing in kids’ sizes, keep an eye out for this GS version’s launch this April 2022.
