We have our latest artist collab after Travis Scott’s insanely hyped Air Jordans which began in 2017. DJ Khaled is no stranger to Air Jordans as he has an unmatched collection of his own! Kicking off his debut Air Jordan 5 collection are four total colourways with two of them already with official releases.
The Air Jordan 5 originally came out in 1990 as a follow-up to the popular Air Jordan 4. As Tinker Hatfield’s third Air Jordan design, he took design cues from World War 2 fighter jets in the form of the forefoot shark teeth. This feature along with the thick and reflective tongue became the main selling point of the shoe.
Visible Air makes a return on the heel, while an encapsulated unit hides in the forefoot. Translucent rubber outsoles with herringbone traction patterns complete the decoupled bottoms.
This DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 5 We The Best “Crimson Bliss” features a Crimson Bliss leather upper with hints of Powder Blue and Sail. Metallic Silver comprises the reflective tongue, while the shark teeth design comes in Blue.
Sail White midsoles and outsoles complete the 2nd Air Jordan 5 releases of DJ Khaled.
