Nike Air Vapormax Plus "New York Knicks"

Whether you’re a fan of the New York Knicks or not, this Air Vapormax Plus is definitely a head-turner! The bright colour combo of this comfortable hybrid shoe will level up your fits.

The Nike Air Vapormax brought another revolutionary run for the Swoosh brand. When people thought that Nike Air is at its pinnacle, Nike found another way to implement the tech in a brand new way. Vapormax technology features an Air-Sole unit that converts the midsole and outsole into one. Only the strobel board bridges your foot and the Nike Air cushioning. Which provides better comfort and impact protection.

It feels completely different than the usual Nike Air Max models because of the outsole shape.

In 2018, Nike remixed the old with the new in a new Vapormax silhouette. The Nike Air Vapormax Plus is a hybrid of the original Vapormax and the classic Nike Air Max Plus TN.

Beloved features from the Air Max Plus such as the rigid midfoot shank and wavy TPU patterns on the upper appear. The neoprene upper also boats debossed designs to pay homage to the original.

Though not officially a “Tuned Air” sneaker, a TN-inspired logo graces the heel panel. A yellow “Vm Air” gives reference to the Tuned Air sneaker such as the Air Max Plus.

Down below, the Vapormax’s Air-Sole works its wonders. Various nubs provide traction on the outsole. There are rubber strips on the heel and outer forefoot sections for extra durability and better grip.

Flaunting a new colourway for October 2021, this Nike Air Vapormax Plus dons the New York Knicks colours of Blue, Orange, and Black. The shoe garnered much success in the past. So it’s no surprise to see it back once again.

Expect the shoe to be available on the Nike website and select retailers worldwide this month.
