Take a dip under the heat in this new Nike Dunk Low colourway. Part of the upcoming Nike Sun Club collection. this Nike Dunk Low SE “Sun Club Yellow” flaunts a “sharky” Swoosh. The Nike Sun Club trainers will expectedly land come Summer ’22 and incorporate recycled content on the shoe.

Recently we covered the first “Sun Club” Nike Dunk that surfaced. And just like the rest of the colourways included, it utilises canvas and a pebbled leather upper. Either way, we’re all excited once Nike officially unveils the Nike Dunk Low “Nike Sun Club” collection. The Swoosh bringing on the heat!

1985 came and brought the likes of the Nike Dunk and Air Jordan 1; and it changed the sneaker game forever. Both were the brand’s mainline basketball trainers, the Air Jordan 1 on-feet none other than MJ, while the Dunk graced the collegiate hoops scene. Nike’s “Be True To Your School” campaign popularised Dunks sporting two-tone colour blocking in the teams’ jersey colours. These popular colourways remain highly sought after even now.

The regular Nike Dunk features a leather upper and a rubber sole. Its clean and simple construction made it very popular beyond basketball and into lifestyle and sneaker cultures. Today, the Dunk is arguably the most touted model by sneakerheads and even non-sneakerheads alike.

This Nike Dunk Low SE “Sun Club Yellow” uses a canvas and pebbled leather combo. Yellow pebbled leather covers the toe, eyestay, and rear. White canvas adorns the vamp, quarter, and tongue panels. Suede appears on the Swoosh where it transitions to an embroidered visible shark fin that is swimming.

More summer-themed details can be found inside the tongue where a hammock hides to take a “rest”. Nike Sun Club labels complete the tongue tags.

Grind rubber makes up the outsole. Subtle speckles spread throughout the Sand-hued outsole.

With official images surfacing, expect these to arrive come Summer 2022.
