G-Dragon PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 "Panda" DH2482-101

K-pop icon G-Dragon is back at it again with his latest rendition of his Nike signature shoe, the Kwondo 1. We now have the second colourway of the “brogue x sneaker” hybrid. The G-Dragon PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 “Panda” borrows the most popular colourway of the Nike Dunk. This time, the Nike Swoosh stands out along with PEACEMINUSONE branding.

Thanks to the success of the PEACEMINUS Air Force 1 Lows, Nike gave G-Dragon his own sneaker. Well, it’s not exactly a sneaker, but rather a combination of a sneaker and a formal shoe. The Nike Kwondo 1 finally gets another release, a year after the debut launch of the Triple White rendition.

If you ask some sneakerheads who G-Dragon is, they probably wouldn’t know him unless they’re fans of K-pop culture. The PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 Low collabs shone some light on who G-Dragon was and also built a hype train. Now, the BIGBANG member gets his own shoe with the Nike Kwondo 1.

The Nike Kwondo 1 is an unconventional shoe. It’s part brogue part sneaker, or everything in between. It features a leather upper with brogue-inspired patterns on the toe and eyestays. At the same time, the Kwondo 1 has the Nike Swoosh on the sides and a thick rubber sole. Wear it as a sneaker, or wear it for formal events, it’s all up to you!

The G-Dragon PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 “Panda” features a White leather base with Black overlays. Think Panda Dunk colour blocking but on a different shoe. PEACEMINUSONE branding appears on the removable tongue and sockliner, while the daisy flower adorns the heel.
