UNDFTD x Nike Air Force 1 Low SP "5 On It"

The Nike Air Force 1 Low will always bring new releases, endlessly giving us great new colourways and more of that timeless style! Almost four decades since it was first introduced, the Nike AF1 continues to excite the sneaker community with brand new designs. As part of the Nike and UNDEFEATED “Dunk Vs. AF-1” sneaker collection, check out this new flavour that boasts luxurious upper materials.

The Nike Air Force 1‘s story began way back in 1982. Where it was introduced as Nike’s primary basketball shoe, offering Nike’s latest technology at that time. Whether it was streetball or professional basketball, the Nike AF1 conquered every court there was. You could probably see at least one person wearing the shoe pretty much anywhere you went. The influence on streetwear was phenomenal!

Now nearing its 40th anniversary, the Nike Air Force 1 is still a “force” to be reckoned with in the sneaker community.

Dressed as usual in a leather upper, the Nike AF1 introduced on-court features such as the perforations on the vamp for added ventilation. Straps (on the High and Mid versions), and who would forget the encapsulated Air unit housed within the thick PU sole. A large “AIR” label on the midsole reminds you of the technology housed inside. In this UNDFTD x Nike “5 On It” collection five different materials are incorporated on each side. Suede, nubuck, leather, canvas, and faux snakeskin are all present in this colourway.

Introduced midway through 2021 as part of the special Nike x UNDEFEATED “Dunk Vs. AF-1” collab, this “5 On It” colourway features tonal and vibrant details on the upper. The grey leather vamp is reinforced with smooth suede overlays. The midfoot area boasts canvas while the faux snakeskin textures adorn the blue Swoosh and the red heel panel.

UNDEFEATED’s five strikes logo can be seen on the tongue and the rear area of the shoe. The sneaker sits on top of a Cream White outsole for a complementary finish.

Released in week three of September 2021 the UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Force 1 Low SP “5 On It” was an exclusive Nike SNKRS Pass release. That’s together with its Nike Dunk Low SP counterpart which you can also check out here.
