It’s been a while since we’ve last seen an all-black upper on the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2. The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Dazzling Blue” set for Spring 2022 brings back memories of the extremely popular 350 V2 “Black Friday” pack from 2016.
It seems there’s no stopping the coveted Yeezy Boost 350 V2 from releasing new flavours. This time Kanye and adidas are bringing back the classic weave with a midfoot strip beneath the SPLY-350 lettering. The upcoming Yeezy 350 V2 “Dazzling Blue” turns to a different side of the colour wheel for a cooler hue. We’re accustomed to neutrals and earthly tones on the recent Yeezy releases, but 2022 is definitely going to be different.
The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 came out in 2016 as a follow up to the first rendition. Unlike the first 350 which only released a handful of colourways, the 350 V2 kept introducing new colour schemes. Every year since 2016, new colourways as well as restocks of the beloved tones occurred.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 features a one-piece Primeknit upper weave. A midfoot strip with the “SPLY-350” lettering became a mainstay on most colourways – but has since then appearing and disappearing on some. Underneath is a TPU ribbed midsole, it houses the thick full-length Boost foam midsole to stabilise the extremely bouncy cushioning.

This upcoming adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Dazzling Blue” arrives in an all-black Primeknit upper with a blue midfoot weave similar to the “Black Friday” pack from 2016. There were three colourways in the Black Friday release, and this looks like a long-awaited revival to the stealthy Yeezy 350 V2s.
Expect a Spring 2022 release date on this heat pair. Safe to say that Yeezys will stay on the trend for many years to come.
