It’s been four years since we saw the debut of the adidas Yeezy Boost 700. But for 2021 adidas and Kanye brought back two familiar colourways, one of them being this “Wash Orange” rendition.
When talking about the Yeezy Boost 700, it’s the definition of a chunky shoe. It’s also quite similar to the Yeezy 500. The shoe features different materials and multiple panels. To top it all off, a thick and bulky midsole graces the sneaker. The Yeezy Boost 700 is considered to be the brand’s main silhouette as the “chunky” crep trend emerges in the sneaker community.
Introduced in 2017, the luxurious shoe arrived in the iconic “Wave Runner” colourway. The upper features mesh, leather, and suede overlays. The futuristic design combines old-school aesthetics to achieve that bulky look. Due to the Wave Runner’s popularity, it has had multiple re-releases in the following years.
Reflective hits appear on the two ovals in the rear panel.
To keep you comfortable, the chunky sole houses a full-length Boost midsole for maximum cushioning and impact protection. The midsole itself sports a unique shape for a vintage trainer finish. It sits atop a herringbone traction outsole that was inspired by adidas’ “Feet You Wear” technology.
This adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Wash Orange” colourway combines the upper of the Wave Runner and the sole unit of the Enflame. Grey mesh, leather, and suede dominates the body, while suede overlays reinforce the lower panels. Blue and green tints complete the front sections. Reflective panels appear on the rear return once more.
A vibrant orange midsole comes with hints of black on the forefoot and the heel. It’s finished off with a black rubber outsole that also serves as a window to the Boost foam.
Arriving in late October 2021, expect this Yeezy Boost 700 Wash Orange you can cop them from our links to the adidas website and select retailers worldwide.
