The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Black Toe Reimagined” Might Just Be the Sneaker of the Year

Jordan Brand‘s “Reimagined” is, undoubtedly, one of the most hyped sneaker lines in history. Unleashed at the end of 2022 with the “Lost & Found,” it was eventually followed up by the “White Cement” and the “Royal” one year later. And now, we’re taking a look at one of the next chapters in the series with the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Black Toe Reimagined.” Destined to be one of 2024’s hottest kicks, keep reading to find out everything that there is to know.

The “Black Toe Reimagined” has a lot to live up to. Delving deep into the archives, this gives the 1985 colourway a vintage-influenced makeover. Featuring a premium, all-leather construction, it works on top of a crisp “White” base. Fiery “University Red” panels surround the collar and heel, while the toebox area is contrasted in “Black” – hence the “Black Toe” nickname.

A stealthy Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls of the Air Jordan 1, and just like the rest of the “Reimagined” line, the rest of the trainer is decorated with pre-aged elements throughout. Cracked detailing can be found around the ankle section, and the Nike Air midsole down below has been dipped in a creamy hue for a seriously vintage vibe. All of this then comes packed in an era-accurate shoebox, complete with paperwork that looks like it’s been swiped straight from the history books.
