Even though JJJJound’s partnership with adidas is relatively new, especially when you compare it to other link-ups from the likes of New Balance and Vans, it’s slowly but surely becoming one of the Montreal label’s best ones to date. And with awesome drops like the upcoming JJJJound x adidas Superstar 90 “Made in Japan,” it really shouldn’t come as any surprise.
Unlike Justin Saunders’ Sambas that he dropped earlier this year, this sneaker switches from being made in Germany to being made in Japan. Decked out in premium “Core Black” leather throughout, it’s contrasted with crisp white Three Stripe branding across the sidewalls for that classic Superstar look.
While this trainer keeps things very clean and very simple, JJJJound’s influence is evident throughout the shoe. The traditional Trefoil logos on the tongue and heel tab have been completely removed for a minimalist vibe, and “JJJJound” branding is stamped across laterals in shiny gold foil. All of this then comes packed in a special edition box, that was made exclusively for this coveted collaboration.
The JJJJound x adidas Superstar 90 “Made in Japan Black” offers a fresh, elevated take on an old school silhouette, merging timeless appeal with modern refinement. Expected to drop on February 1st, let us know if you’ll be going for these, and be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
