After check out the “Master Splinter” a couple of weeks ago, the TMNT x adidas Superstar “Utrom Shredder” has now been revealed. Inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ arch nemesis, Utrom Shredder is one of the franchise’s most notorious villains. First introduced all the way back in the May 1984, he’s coming back in sneaker form just in time for his 40th anniversary.
Paying homage to Utrom Shredder’s samurai-inspired armour, this Superstar is crafted from premium “Core Black” leather and is accented with shiny metallic accents throughout. Special steel dubraes feature on the laces as a nod to the mega villain, and the iconic Shelltoe makes it way to the front for that classic look and feel.
Around the back, you’ll find a dash of pink suede that symbolises Shredder’s signature scarf (an accessory that he’s been wearing for four decades), and “adidas” is written in the old school TMNT font. All of this then comes packed in a special edition shoebox, that’s been designed specifically for this iconic collaboration.
