Jordan Brand‘s “Black Cat” series is, without question, one of the most exciting collections in sneaker history. The Air Jordan 3 and the Air Jordan 4 have both been blessed with the feline rework, and now, it looks like the Air Jordan 5 “Black Cat” could also be coming very soon. Nothing is set in stone just yet, but here’s everything that we know so far.
Inspired by Michael Jordan’s on-court nickname, the Air Jordan 5 version apparently follows in the same footsteps of its predecessors with a very stealthy colour palette. Its design is simple and sophisticated, featuring a “Black” nubuck upper that’s buttery soft. “Anthracite” accents grace the iconic Jumpman logos, introducing a subtle yet striking contrast to the overall aesthetic.
Comfort is not compromised in this release, as the midsole incorporates Nike‘s critically-acclaimed Air technology, ensuring a cushioned wearing experience. All of this is then finished off with the silhouette’s signature toggle lace system, which results in a rugged look and feel that is sure to turn heads wherever you go.
At this moment in time, not much else is known about the Air Jordan 5 “Black Cat.” However, it’s set to release within the coming months, so make sure you keep it locked at Captain Creps for further updates.
