Well, it’s official. The Air Jordan 4 “Bred Reimagined” has been rumoured for well over a year now, and after all this time, it’s finally been confirmed by Nike and Jordan Brand themselves. Giving the 1989 classic a contemporary rework, this is guaranteed to be one of the most hyped sneakers of the entire year.
Just like the other trainers from the “Reimagined” series, the “Bred Reimagined” takes an OG colourway and applies a striking twist to it. The “Lost & Found,” for example, was finished with pre-aged details, and the “White Cement” from last year followed suit. For this rendition, the all-suede construction has been completely swapped out for tumbled leather. While it doesn’t look like there’s much of a difference, it actually completely changes its entire vibe.
What makes the “Bred Reimagined” even more special is what’s around the back. While most Air Jordan 4s these days settle for Jumpman-branded heel tabs, this one goes back to its roots with the old school “Nike Air” one that’s extremely sought-after. All of this then rests on top of an Air midsole, and comes packed in a special edition box that’s almost as collectible as the actual shoes themselves.
The Air Jordan 4 “Bred Reimagined” is scheduled for release on February 17th, and will be available in a full range of sizes, making it accessible to fans of all ages. It’s going to be a pretty tough cop, so make sure you keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
