The Air Jordan 1 High OG “UNC Reimagined” is Coming Next Summer

Ever since the “Lost & Found” was introduced in 2022, sneakerheads all over the globe have been going wild for the “Reimagined” series. And while the “Black Toe Reimagined” is coming up just around the corner, it looks like there are even more colourways to look forward to like the Air Jordan 1 High OG “UNC Reimagined” – and here’s everything that we know so far.

The “UNC” was one of the first ever colourways to hit the Air Jordan 1. First introduced in 1985, it gets its iconic “Dark Powder Blue” and “Sail” colour scheme from Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina. A Nike Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls, while the iconic winged basketball emblem is stamped across the lateral collar, just like the originals from back in the day.

While this is just a mock-up, the “UNC Reimagined” will feature a cracked leather construction for an aesthetic that looks like it’s been pulled straight out of the archives. The Air midsole will also be finished with a pre-yellowed effect, and all of this will come in an era-accurate shoebox that’s almost as collectable as the actual trainers themselves.

Dropping just in time to celebrate Jordan Brand‘s 40th anniversary, the Air Jordan 1 High OG “UNC Reimagined” will drop sometime in Summer 2025. Let us know if you’ll be adding these to your rotation next year, and be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
