This year marks the Air Jordan 4‘s 35th birthday, and to celebrate this massive milestone, Jordan Brand has been dropping a bevy of legendary colourways such as the “Bred Reimagined,” the “Military Blue,” and now, the Air Jordan 4 “Oxidized Green.” One of the latest colourways to hit Michael Jordan’s fourth signature shoe, keep reading to find out everything that you need to know.
Unbeknownst to many, this AJ4 is actually inspired by the similarly-named Air Jordan 14 colourway that was first introduced in 1999 and re-released in 2016. For this version, it features an all-white leather construction that feels extremely premium and buttery to the touch.
Rich “Oxidized Green” hues adorn the eyelets, midsole, lining, and Jumpman branding on both the heel and tongue. These emerald accents impart a subtle yet impactful contrast against the white backdrop, enhancing the sneaker’s visual appeal.
Underfoot, the midsole is infused with Nike‘s critically acclaimed Air technology for unrivalled comfort and cushioning with every step. However, rather than leaving it pristine like the rest of the trainer, Jordan Brand has dipped it in a pre-yellowed finish for a vintage vibe, similar to what you might find on the legendary Air Jordan 1 High OG “Lost & Found” from 2022.
Expected to be released on June 15th, the Air Jordan 4 “Oxidized Green” is going to be a pretty tough cop, so make sure you keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
