The Air Jordan 4 Retro “Bred Reimagined” FV5029-006 Drop Info

Jordan Brand’s Reimagined series continues with the Air Jordan 4. The Reimagined colourways involve OG styles of iconic Air Jordan silhouettes with various tweaks on the materials to achieve the reimagined look. This trend began with the Air Jordan 1 High “Patent Bred” in 2021, followed by the “Chicago Lost & Found”. The Air Jordan 3 “White Cement Reimagined” followed in 2023, while the Air Jordan 1 High “Royal Reimagined” will drop later on in 2023. Sources confirm the release of the Air Jordan 4 Retro “Bred Reimagined”. The shoe will arrive just in time for the NBA All-Star Weekend 2024.

While the official release date is still tentative, with February 17th, 2024, being the current target, sneakerheads know to expect possible changes in the schedule. Although no early images have been revealed yet, a mock-up shared by @ZSneakerHeadz showcases a full leather construction for the Air Jordan 4 “Bred Reimagined”. This departure from the traditional nubuck materials used in the original “Bred” colourway indicates a significant shift in the design approach.

Let’s check out the 2019 “Bred” release in the meantime while we wait for 2024’s edition.

The Air Jordan 4 “Bred” is an OG colourway last retroed in 2019. The OG colourway features an all-black nubuck base with grey TPU eyelets and black support wings. Red accents, including the Jumpman logo, tongue lining, and outsole, provide striking pops of colour. It’s no surprise that the Air Jordan 4 has remained immensely popular, often regarded as the second most iconic Air Jordan silhouette, right after the Air Jordan 1.

The Air Jordan 4 remained popular, often considered to be the second most popular Air Jordan behind the J1.

The term “Bred” has become synonymous with the combination of black and red colours, first seen on the Air Jordan 1 High in 1985. The enduring legacy of this colour scheme continues strongly to this day.

The Air Jordan 4 Retro “Bred Reimagined” is poised to make a significant impact in the sneaker community when dropped. With the anticipation surrounding its release during the NBA All-Star Weekend 2024, this reimagined edition is set to become a must-have for sneaker enthusiasts and collectors alike. Stay tuned for more information, and cross all fingers if you’re looking to cop this iteration at retail!
