Designed to enhance precise foot movements, the shoe is engineered to be close to the ground, allowing players to have better court feel during actions like pivots, cuts, and defensive slides. The X-Plate, reminiscent of the AJ8’s distinctive straps, ensures optimal foot placement and agility with its “X” configuration. Complementing this feature, the sole unit displays a radial herringbone pattern, working together with a full-length Zoom Strobel unit and Cushlon 3.0 foam to provide responsive cushioning.

The upper design of the shoe pays homage to Michael Jordan’s remarkable performance in the 1992-93 NBA Finals, with 41 crosshatches symbolizing his 41 points-per-game average and three medial diamonds representing the Bulls’ third consecutive championship.
